Company Background
Melody Gaboury-Scott
Melody Gaboury-Scott, owner of My Jasper Nanny, has over 25 years of experience in child care.
Melody received her Bachelor of Tourism and Recreation Management at Vancouver Island University in 2006. Her field school experience included volunteer work at schools in Central & South America. She has had several long-term nanny positions, worked in daycares, and worked as an Educational Assistant for 5 years at the Jasper Elementary School.

Melody has had several long-term nanny positions, worked in daycares, and worked as an Educational Assistant for 5 years at the Jasper Elementary School.
Fitness, Water Aerobics & Yoga Teacher
Melody is a certified Yoga Instructor, having studied at the Saltspring Centre of Yoga. She loves teaching yoga & playing with children of all ages.
She has also completed her fitness teacher training & regularly teaches water aerobics and yoga at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.
Traveling Parents
Melody became a first-time mom in 2014 when her little boy was born. Then in 2017, Melody & Peter became proud parents again…this time bringing their baby girl into this world.
On a holiday in Costa Rica, Melody & Peter wanted to go ziplining but were too anxious to simply hire a local babysitter. They realized Jasper visitors might have the same kind of apprehension and saw My Jasper Nanny as a much-needed service.
And My Jasper Nanny was born!

Every Experience Wonderful!
We have been using My Jasper Nanny since our eldest was a young baby 6 years ago. We’ve had several different babysitters, including Melody. Every experience has been wonderful! Our kids love the nanny’s, and it makes our experience in Jasper so much more pleasant!
The nanny comes to our hotel room at JPL, which is super easy. We’ve recommended this service to all of our friends and will continue to do so. Melody is very professional, and easy to communicate with at every step of the booking and experience. She works very well with the staff at JPL, and knows the property so well.
We feel very safe leaving all 3 of our kids with her (including our 4m old). Pricing is also very reasonable. Highly recommend!!

Melody was an amazing sitter for our 18month baby! She arranged his lunch and snacks for him as well, which was a huge help for us. We had happy parents and baby at pickup:) We will definitely ask for her sitting services again.
